SeeSunTone is a personal publishing project by Eric Sisounthone, based in France and Asia. Contact : eric.sisounthone@vao-agency.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what data I collect when you visit seesuntone.com, why I collect it, and how you can control it. I keep the practice minimal and transparent. No advertising profiling, no data sold to third parties, ever.

Always collected (necessary) : anonymized page views via Vercel Analytics. No cookies posted, no personal identifier, no cross-site tracking. Used to understand which pages load and respond well.

Collected only with consent (analytics) : Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to measure how readers engage with articles. IPs are anonymized by default. You can refuse or revoke at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Voluntary form data : if you write through the contact form, I receive your name, email and message. If you subscribe to the blog newsletter, I receive your email. Stored on Resend (EU region eu-west-1, GDPR-compliant processor).

Vercel Analytics : 12 months rolling, anonymized. Google Analytics 4 (if consented) : 14 months, then deleted. Contact form emails : kept in my inbox as long as needed to maintain the conversation, then archived. Newsletter subscribers : until unsubscribe (one click in any email footer).

Under European privacy law, you can ask me to access, correct, delete or export your personal data at any time. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent. Just send an email to eric.sisounthone@vao-agency.com with the words "privacy request" in the subject line. I reply within 30 days.

You can also contact the French data protection authority (CNIL) if you feel your rights aren't respected : cnil.fr.

Necessary : none. The site uses localStorage (not a cookie) to remember your cookie consent choice. Cleared when you clear browser data.

Analytics (with consent) :_ga,_ga_* from Google Analytics 4. Used to count returning readers and measure engagement. Expire after 2 years or are deleted if you refuse later.

You can revoke your choice anytime through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
